Most "best platform for creators" lists rank whoever pays the affiliate commission. This one is published by Paycall.me, so treat it accordingly — but the fee column is checkable, and several platforms here charge less than we do. Figures below were verified in October 2026; platforms change pricing, so check the source before making a decision on a number alone.
| Platform | Fee | What it sells |
|---|---|---|
| Ko-fi | 0% free plan · ~5% Gold | Tips, memberships, shop |
| Passes | 10% (processing included) | Memberships and content |
| Patreon | ~8–12% plan dependent | Membership tiers |
| Paycall.me | 12% | Paid calls, DMs, events, subscriptions |
| Linktree | 12% free · 9% Pro · 0% Premium ($35/mo) | Bio link page |
| OnlyFans | 20% | Content subscriptions |
| Fansly | 20% | Content subscriptions |
| Fanvue | 20% (15% introductory) | Content and AI creator subscriptions |
| FanFix | 20% | Subscription tiers |
| Minnect | 20% | Paid expert calls and questions |
| Cameo | ~25% | Recorded personalised videos |
| Stan Store | 0% fee · $29–$99/month | Digital products and bookings |
Ko-fi charges nothing on its free plan and Stan Store charges no transaction fee at all — yet neither is automatically the best deal, because a 0% cut of a product your audience will not buy is still zero.
The question worth asking is what your audience is actually willing to pay for. Then pick the platform that can bill for that thing, and only then compare rates.
Almost everything on the list falls into one of three groups, and they are not really competing with each other.
Paycall.me sits in the third group. It charges 12%, is free to join, and bills live calls per minute in 5-second increments. Paid DMs are refunded if you never reply, and you can run VIP subscriptions, ticketed events and bookable sessions from the same link.
It is the wrong tool if you want a content feed with monthly subscribers as your main product, if you sell digital downloads at volume, or if you are hoping a platform will introduce you to new fans. Paycall has no discovery feed. Every creator earning here brought their own audience.
Almost nobody uses one platform. The common pattern is a content platform for recurring subscribers, a storefront for products, and an access link for calls and paid messages — because those three revenue types bill completely differently and no single platform does all three well.
Of the platforms listed, Ko-fi (0% on its free plan) and Stan Store (0% transaction fee, $29–99/month) charge least on paper, followed by Passes at 10%. Paycall.me charges 12%.
OnlyFans takes 20% of creator earnings, as do Fansly, FanFix and Fanvue after its introductory period.
A content platform sells posts on a recurring subscription. An access platform sells a specific interaction — a call, a message, a session — priced and billed on its own.
Yes, and most established creators do. None of the platforms listed here require exclusivity.
Not reliably. Discovery on creator platforms is weak almost everywhere; your own following is what drives earnings. Be sceptical of any platform that claims otherwise.
